About Our Amish Country Bed and Breakfast
In character with its surroundings, this Amish country bed and breakfast is a large stone and clapboard country cottage with random width wood floors througout the inn. The doors of the B&B have wrought iron hardware and door latches. Several Dutch doors lead to outside porches and patios.
Charming Common Areas of the B&B
Beamed ceilings highlight the living room and dining room. The living room is dominated by a large stone fireplace that is wonderfully cozy on cool evenings while watching TV, reading, playing games or sharing lively conversation. The large, gracious dining room is brightened by a crystal chandelier and crystal wall sconces. Enjoy a hearty country breakfast before you start your day of sight-seeing, antiquing or shopping in beautiful Pennsylvania Dutch country. The patio accessible from the living room and dining room is the perfect place to relax, read or view the gardens.

The second floor has five beautifully appointed guest rooms, all with in-room private baths and TV. There is a delightfully cozy covered porch with rocking chairs. The bed and breakfast has central A/C and high-speed wireless internet. A refrigerator and microwave is available for guest use.
The History of Richmond House Bed and Breakfast
The Richmond House was originally built in 1933 for C.W. Richmond, a dentist, and his wife , Sara. Dr Richmond began his dental practice in New Holland in 1927. Upon his death in 1975 the bulk of his estate created the Richmond-Pennock Scholarship Trust Fund for graduating seniors at Garden Spot High School and is sought after by those studying dentistry or nursing.
